Frances Meiser is an educator, author, and pioneer in bringing new information on brain function and its neuroplasticity to the educational arena and an aging population. At age fifty, she was labeled with Attention Deficit Disorder, and now she shares with her audience the methods she has learned to both deal with this “diagnosis” and to overcome it. What a disappointment! I should have looked at the original publishing date. Probably at the time it first came out some of this information was new, but there was nothing in this book that hasn't been said in a thousand other places.

oversimplified

This book provides information such as drinking out of a "wiggly" shaped straw enhances neural pathways that can help bladder control and eyesight, and that one should sit at least 3 feet away from a computer while using it in order to avoid brain damage from electromagnetic energy. This book oversimplifies complex issues. Perhaps this book may be beneficial to those looking for general advice, and there are some helpful dietary tips. The first 36 pages of this book are not particularly helpful or substantial and largely include oversized drawings that vaguely have to do with the concepts of the book.
