About the Author
Su-en Wong was born in Singapore in 1973. She grew up with aspirations of becoming a ballerina. At age 16, Wong left for the United States to embark on a career of piano performance but, upon discovering that she had stage fright, as well as an affinity and love for painting and drawing, she changed career paths once again. Since receiving her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she has had solo exhibitions at SAVAGE, Deitch Projects, Stefan Stux Gallery, Zolla/Lieberman, and the Art Gallery of Ontario. Wong currently lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
